Confused about New North?

Understanding New North may help you to take that winning photograph. To keep it simple, "the New North" is a region encompassing 18 counties in Northeast Wisconsin. "New North, Inc." promotes that region as a great place to live, work, and play. In fact, the six categories you are entering represent each of our six initiatives.

So with this in mind, I'm going to be focusing on one category at a time over the next week. I will make blog posts with questions to guide you toward pictures that showcase New North's mission. Remember, we are looking for photos to use in our brochures and other marketing pieces. Let's get started!

Sustainability - try to capture the answers to these questions in a photograph:
  • What efforts are we taking that will make Northeast Wisconsin a region that can exist for years to come?
  • What are we doing now that will ensure our long-term survival / the long-term health of our planet?
  • What sustainable business practices are taking place in the area?
  • What efforts in recycling, resourceful food cultivation, and new energy development can you draw attention to?

As always feel free to post questions or comments - I'm here to help!
